Statement by MP Terry Sheehan on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

I am very saddened by the news of Her Majesty’s passing. My deepest condolences to Her Majesty’s family. Her Majesty reined honourably over Canada for more than 70 years. She oversaw sweeping positive changes and led our governments with formidable leadership, respect, and humility. Over these past 70 years of her reign, Canada and the world has seen her leadership mend bridges, improve relations, maintain and promote peace, and most of all a role model of politeness for many. I want to also wish His Majesty The King the very best in his succession and leadership of Canada and the Commonwealth. I look forward to continuing to improve and work with the Crown and walk side by side in improving the lives of all Canadians.
