MP Sheehan Releases August Householder
(Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario—August 11th, 2021)
Today, Member of Parliament for Sault Ste Marie, Terry Sheehan, released electronically the August householder. Houses in the riding of Sault Ste. Marie have received a printed copy of the householder in the mail.
In the householder, MP Sheehan included a list of federal funding to local organizations, a map of the riding where pins are placed to represented organizations who have received funding, and more. Not all organizations were included as the federal government has funded many businesses in the riding. Please click here for a full list of funds in the riding since MP Sheehan took office.
Also included are some highlights in the riding during the pandemic. Highlights in the householder include the $420M Algoma Steel announcement, the Emergency Community Support Fund (purple pins on map), Budget 2021, a thanks to healthcare and frontline workers, and info on the Regional Relief and Recovery Fund.
